How to reach us
Opera - Ortigia Central Rooms is located at Via Giuseppe Logoteta 18, Syracuse, in the heart of the island of Ortigia, an ideal location to discover the historical and cultural wonders of the city.
By car
- From Catania (Fontanarossa Airport): Follow the A18 highway towards Syracuse. Exit at Syracuse South and follow signs for Ortigia. Keep in mind that the island is subject to a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), but access is allowed to public and private parking areas within the island.
- From other Sicilian cities: Reach Syracuse via the A18 or A19 highway network and follow signs for the city center/Ortigia. Via Giuseppe Logoteta is in the heart of the island and is easily accessible.
Parking
For easy access and a stress-free visit, keep the following information in mind:
- ZTL:
- Weekdays: 7:00 PM - 2:00 AM
- Holidays/pre-holidays: 12:00 PM - 2:00 AM
Access to the ZTL is allowed to reach public parking within the island.

We strongly recommend booking your parking spot by phone in advance to avoid availability issues.
By train
The Syracuse train station is about 15 minutes on foot from Ortigia. From the station, cross the Umbertino Bridge and head toward the center of the island until you reach Via Giuseppe Logoteta, where the property is located.
By bus
The main bus stop in Syracuse is located near the train station. From there, follow directions to reach Ortigia on foot or take a taxi directly to Opera - Ortigia Central Rooms.
From the airport
- From Catania Airport: You can reach Syracuse via:
- Rental car: Follow the A18 highway (travel time: approximately 50 minutes).
- Direct Interbus: Regular connections between the airport and Syracuse station (travel time: approximately 1 hour).
- Private transfer: Contact us to arrange a transfer service upon your arrival.
On foot
Opera - Ortigia Central Rooms is located in the heart of Ortigia, easily reachable on foot from all major points of interest on the island, such as the Syracuse Cathedral, the Arethusa Fountain, and the Ortigia market. Its strategic location also allows convenient access to the rest of the city.
